Nickelodeon Gak™

Nickelodeon Gak

Before Vogler "went digital" he started his career making toys. He was a founding father for Nickelodeon's early Consumer Product division which has since grown to be $5.5 billion powerhouse for parent company Viacom. Of the hundreds of SKUs Vogler was involved with, his line of compound toys were the most notorious — and memorable. GAK™ is a florescent blob of amorphous goo that quickly became the physical manifestation of the entire Nickelodeon cable brand.
