Disney's Daily Blast




Disney's Daily Blast was the first major subscription-based content site launched by a major media company. It was Disney's first web product aimed at its traditional audience of children 3 to 12 years old. This ambitious effort was an industry trailblazer that pioneered many best practices that are standard today. Based on the model of a daily publication, it was populated with original entertainment and boldly experimented with new non-Disney brands, tools, utilities and immersive experiences that was years ahead of it's time. Receiving many industry creative and technical awards, it was also the first major web product to be built in Adobe Flash.
